Managing Partner, Yonaco Group
Itzik Yona has approximately 20 years of experience in business with Korea. He lived in South Korea for several years as a director of a Korean technology company that employed approximately 600 employees. He managed one of the largest investment transactions in Korea and served as a board member in Israeli and Korean companies.
Itzik Yona has extensive experience in supporting complex projects and negotiating for international and Israeli companies with Korean companies. He has practical experience in supporting and advising senior management in all areas of industry in their business with Korea.
Before founding the Yonaco Group, he gained extensive experience as an investment banker and as an international business consultant as a senior manager at the consulting firm E&Y and led the corporate development area in an international technology group.
He holds a BA in Economics and Accounting and an MBA from Tel Aviv University, and is a guest lecturer on business with Korea at academic institutions in Israel.
Managing Partner, Yonaco Korea
Insoo Jung brings to Yonaco over 20 years of experience in Corporate Planning and Business Development in Korean multinational companies, including LG Chem, IBM Korea, Goodyear Korea, Motorola and Appeal Telecom.
As the CFO of an Israeli-invested Korean company and as a director for international business development in a mobile related company, Mr. Jung was involved in and led complicated M&A and strategic cooperation transactions with foreign companies in Korea.
Mr. Jung holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Hanyang University, Korea.
Simon Kim
Senior Advisor
Simon brings with him over 30 years of experience in the IT, mobile and consumer products industries, having held a number of senior management positions at Samsung Electronics. Among other things, he served as CEO of Samsung in Israel and Jordan. Simon specializes in supporting and navigating complex projects with giant Korean corporations.
Ryan Kim
Head of Online Business Division
Ryan is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience and deep understanding of the digital media and gaming industries in Korea. He served as CEO of a subsidiary of CJ ENM as well as a variety of international digital media companies.
Harry Chung
VP of Biotechnology
MHarry Chung brings to Yonaco over 15 years of experience in the Healthcare industry.
Mr. Chung served in various positions in Johnson & Johnson North Asia including as the head of a business unit. Has a vast experience in penetrating and developing new markets for innovative products in the Korean Healthcare industry.
Mr. Chung graduated from the Pusan National University and holds an MBA from Seoul National University. He won various awards including The Sales Representative of The Year and Best Bio Surgery Business Development of the year in Johnson & Johnson Corporation. First ever Korean to appear in the J&J Hall of Fame for his performance.
Senior Manager
Dan has over a decade of experience in business consulting projects with Korea. Over the years, he has managed many projects in a variety of industries and served as the director of the Korea Business Conference. He brings to the Yonaco Group extensive knowledge of Korean business culture.
Dan focuses on various technology areas including the Korean gaming industry, digital media, and more. He brings with him extensive knowledge of technology and innovation.
He holds an MA in Political Science and East Asia from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
